A private 5-day desert tour from Fes to Casablanca via Merzouga Desert it’s an epic adventure! Here’s what you can expect:
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Fès – Midelt – Azrou – Ziz Valley – Merzouga
After breakfast, we will Leave Fez and go to Todra Gorges, passing through Ifrane to arrive at the cedar forests of Azrou where the wild monkeys are located. It will be a good opportunity to take photos of the wilderness in Morocco. Lunch in a small Berber village of Zaida. We continue the way through the Atlas Mountains enjoying the landscapes of Medilt to arrive at the small town of Rich, Erfoud in which we’ll feel the beginning of the Saharan oasis of Tafilalet.And then continue to Merzouga desert. Overnight hotel Dar Morocco or similar. Dinner.
Day 2: Merzouga – Luxury Camp – Visit Nomads – Merzouga.
We start the trip after your breakfast at the hotel, direction to Gnawa music,
In village of black people from Mali and Sudan, after listening and dancing our adventure will continue to the route of rally Paris Dakar,
Crossing the Desert track heading to ‘ Mefes mines ‘After half an hour we will drive in desert stones. It will be fantastic, Midday we stop the car for tea with lunch of Berber pizza in nomad land.
You will experience how the people can live in desert with sandstorms in summer with very warm weather.
After lunch we will come back to your hotel, relax a bit then ride the camels into the dunes to spend the night in luxury camp inside the dunes of Erg chebbi desert, one hour by camels then sand boarding,
Then sunset over the dunes, tents with private bathrooms, then dinner and Berber music.
Day 3: Merzouga — Berber Villages — Dades Gorges.
After the breakfast and take shower in your comfortable tent,
Then start our journey to Dades Gorges through the Berber villages of the atlas mountains, Tinjdad, tinghir todra gorges, Boumalene-du-Dades. Overnight at Ksar Sultan Dades or similar. Dinner.
Day 4: Dades Gorges — Ouarzazate — Back to Marrakech through Tizi-n-Tichka.
After the breakfast Leaving Dades Gorges in the Morning,
We will visit the majestic Atlas Mountains. Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, Cinema Studio in Ouarzazate,
Cross the High Atlas Mountains via the highest road pass in Morocco Tizi Tichka 2260m high offering impressive views of valleys, mountains and many Berber villages nearby. Arrive in the evening. Overnight in Marrakech Riad Bahia Salam or similar / with breakfast included.
Day: 5 Marrakech - Casablanca Airport.
After your breakfast at the hotel, you have a tour with a local guide, then our driver guide will take you to the airport in Casablanca.

How to meet our driver guide to start our tour?
We’ll arrange for you to meet your driver-guide at a designated location, usually at your hotel or a central meeting point. We’ll provide you with all the details, including the meeting time and location, in your confirmation email.Your driver-guide will be holding a sign with your name if you come from the airport, so you’ll easily spot them. They’ll be happy to assist with your luggage and get you settled for the adventure ahead!

The camel trek in Merzouga Desert typically takes you for one hour to reach the Erg Chebbi dunes.The camp is usually located inside the dunes, You’ll be treated to stunning views of the desert sunset and a warm welcome at the camp!
