Overview

A 5-day private trip from Tangier to Marrakech via Merzouga Desert and Chefchaouen  it’s an amazing adventure! Here’s a suggested itinerary:Drive through the Rif Mountains and visit the blue city of Chefchaouen

Explore the medina’s narrow streets and enjoy the local cuisine
 Spend the night in Chefchaouen.
Drive to Fes and explore the city’s rich history and culture
Visit the Al-Attarine Madrasa and Bou Inania Madrasa
Spend the night in Fes.
Drive through the Middle Atlas Mountains and visit the ancient city of Sijilmassa
 Arrive at Merzouga Desert and enjoy a camel trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes
– Spend the night in a luxury desert camp.
Drive through the Ziz Valley and visit the ancient town of Erfoud
Arrive at Dades Gorge and explore the scenic valley
 Spend the night in a hotel or kasbah.
Visit the Todra Gorge and explore the scenic Dades Valley

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Tanger – Chefchouen.

Pick up from the airport of Tanger or Port de Tanger Med || or hotels or riads. You will have free time in Chefchaouen to explore it. Please send us your arrival information. Like that our driver guide will find you with a sign with your name.

We will drive two hours to Chefchouen after we arrive you will have a tour with a local guide to visit the blue city for 2 hours. after that we will drive to fes. arrive late afternoon.

Overnight at or similar.

In the afternoon you have a tour with a local guide in Fes.

 Must-See Attractions:
1. Fes el-Bali: The oldest Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and a maze of narrow alleys.
2. Al-Attarine Madrasa: A stunning example of Marinid architecture, and a hidden gem.
3. Bou Inania Madrasa: A beautiful madrasa, with intricate woodwork and stunning tile work.
4. Al-Qarawiyyin Mosque: One of the oldest universities in the world, and a center of Islamic learning.
5. Chouara Tannery: is one of the three tanneries in the city of Fez, Morocco. It is the largest tannery in the city and one of the oldest. It is located in Fes el Bali, the oldest medina quarter of the city, near the Saffarin Madrasa along the Oued Fes.

Free time for dinner.

Overnight at Riad Dilar or similar

After the breakfast Leaving Fez and going to Todra Gorges , passing through Ifrane to arrive to the cedar forests of Azrou where the wild monkeys are located. It will be good opportunity to take photos of wilderness in Morocco. Lunch in a small Berber village of Zaida. We continue the way through the Atlas Mountains enjoying the landscapes of Medilt to arrive to the small town of Rich,Erfoud in which we’ll feel the beginning of the Saharan oasis of Tafilalet.And then continue to Merzouga, after relaxing few min.. you’ll ride the camels to spend the night in desert. night in berber comfortable nomad tents.

 Overnight in Luxury Desert Camp.

After breakfast, take a shower in your comfortable tent, then start our journey to Dades Gorges through the Berber villages of the Atlas Mountains, Tinjdad, Tinghir Todra Gorges, Boumalene Dades.

Overnight at Ksar Sultan Dades or something similar. Dinner and Breakfast.

After breakfast, leaving Dades Gorges in the Morning, we will visit the majestic Atlas Mountains. Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, Cinema Studio in Ouarzazate, crosses the High Atlas Mountains via the highest road pass in Morocco, Tizin Tichka 2260m high, offering impressive views of valleys, mountains and many Berber villages nearby. Arrive in the evening. Overnight in Marrakech Riad Bahia Salam or similar, with breakfast included.

Packing for Merzouga Desert?

Here’s your checklist:Comfortable clothing (loose, breathable, and layers for temperature changes)
 Sturdy shoes or hiking boots
 Sandals or flip-flops (for Sun protection (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, lip balm)
 Warm layers for evening (it can get chilly in December and January)
 Personal hygiene items
 Camera and charger (don’t miss the stunning views!)

To confirm your reservation with us, I’ll need you to send us a deposit of 30% of the total cost via PayPal.
The rest of the payment will be paid in cash in your arrival to Merzouga desert. Either Euro or Dirhams.

They’ll be happy to assist with your luggage and get you settled for the adventure ahead!

The camel trek in Merzouga Desert typically takes you for one hour to reach the Erg Chebbi dunes.The camp is usually located inside the dunes, You’ll be treated to stunning views of the desert sunset and a warm welcome at the camp!

Our luxury desert camp offers private tents, private bathroom with Hot water.
