Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Marrakech – Tizi N Tichka – Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley.

At 8 am we’ll start our Three Days trip from Marrakech to Fes with a pickup from your accommodation and drive to Dades Valley via the High Atlas Mountains and the pass of Tizi N Tichka pass we will stop and enjoy impressive landscapes and Berber hamlets; we will visit the universal Heritage Site of Ait Benhaddou Kasbah as it has been named by Unesco in 1987. This Berber Kasbah has been used as an important destination for international filmmakers for more than 20 films and also one of the most important fortress strongholds on the old Salt Road where caravans brought slaves, gold, ivory, salt, and silk from Subsaharans countries to Marrakech and beyond.
We’ll pass through Ouarzazate, or what we call African Hollywood since it has been a very famous destination for filmmakers. After Ouarzazate, we will continue to Dades Valley, through the M’gouna, Skoura Berber villages around the valley.

After breakfast, we’ll start our desert trip from Dades to the Erg-Chebbi Sahara Desert.
The first stop will be in Todra Gorges which is the Biggest Canyon in Morocco.
In Todra gorges you’ll have some free time to walk beside the river to explore Todra Gorges, And then we’ll drive to Erfoud in which we’ll feel the beginning of the Sahara Desert, we’ll stop in some restaurant to have lunch and we continue to the Merzouga desert, we will take you to your hotel or riad in Merzouga.

After taking a shower and breakfast we’ll start our tour back to Fes, through the middle Atlas Mountains, visiting Ziz Valley. Medilt. Azrou.We will arrive in Fes in the evening.

Packing for Merzouga Desert?

Here’s your checklist:Comfortable clothing (loose, breathable, and layers for temperature changes)
 Sturdy shoes or hiking boots
 Sandals or flip-flops (for Sun protection (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, lip balm)
 Warm layers for evening (it can get chilly in December and January)
 Personal hygiene items
 Camera and charger (don’t miss the stunning views!)
Medications and a small first-aid kit
 Cash and credit cards (some places might not accept cards)Don’t forget to check the weather forecast before you go!

To confirm your reservation with us, I’ll need you to send us a deposit of 30% of the total cost via PayPal.
The rest of the payment will be paid in cash in your arrival to Merzouga desert. Either Euro or Dirhams.

We’ll arrange for you to meet your driver-guide at a designated location, usually at your hotel or a central meeting point. We’ll provide you with all the details, including the meeting time and location, in your confirmation email.Your driver-guide will be holding a sign with your name if you come from the airport, so you’ll easily spot them. They’ll be happy to assist with your luggage and get you settled for the adventure ahead!

The camel trek in Merzouga Desert typically takes you for one hour to reach the Erg Chebbi dunes.The camp is usually located inside the dunes, You’ll be treated to stunning views of the desert sunset and a warm welcome at the camp!
